The Sandy Mountain Festival began when a small group of individuals got together in 1972 who had a vision. Since its inception generations of the same families, along with community members have built this event into one of the biggest festivals in the State of Oregon. Year after year this all-volunteer committee has gotten together spending many hours and months of hard work to bring to you one of the biggest festivals in Oregon. This would not be possible without the great men and women who came before us.

The Sandy Mountain Festival is known for being one of the main art shows for elite artists from all over the country. The lush trails of Meinig park are the perfect setting for a hot summer day of shopping in the shade of the cedars and firs. Sit by the creek, and listen to the sounds of the Portland Metro area’s highly sought-after bands. Our food booths, like our artists, are chosen by Jury to assure the food is of the highest quality and selection. Our Parade and Carnival are sure to bring back the feelings of yesterday when our community comes together once again to make this day their own.
